Welcome to The Blackberry Center

The Blackberry Center is a 64-bed psychiatric hospital licensed by the Florida Department of Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. Our retreat-like environment provides a tranquil setting in which our patients can heal. The hospital has programs that address a broad spectrum of mental health issues that can be tailored to patient needs, including dual diagnosis treatment and general psychiatric care.

For those affected by mental illness and substance use disorder, our hospital provides a comprehensive suite of addiction recovery services and raises the bar for what patients in our region can expect when it comes to maintaining lifelong recovery. Our addiction treatment model is simple: Meet the individual where they are and guide them into a recovery-focused lifestyle. We believe in an approach that addresses the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of the individual. Our dedicated staff is passionate about providing quality care to each and every individual who checks into our facility. We proudly offer Detoxification, Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Partial Hospitalization programming at our treatment center.

Treatment Program Features

Group Counseling and Peer Support:

In group therapy, you will work with other individuals in recovery and a mental health professional to identify the patterns of addiction and/or mental illness. In this way, you will become stronger in your recovery by learning new, healthier coping mechanisms and leaning on the support of people like you.

Individualized Counseling:

When you enroll in a program at The Blackberry Center, our mental health and addiction professionals will work with you to craft an individualized care plan. When necessary, this could include one-on-one time with a counselor or therapist.

Daily Interactions with Therapist:

Each wing of our treatment center has an assigned therapist who engages with each patient’s treatment plan and is available for patients on an as-needed basis. This means that if you need extra help one day, it will be ready and waiting for you.

Friendly, Experienced Caretakers:

Our staff is filled with individuals who are dedicated to each patient’s recovery. We employ a diverse group of physicians, addiction specialists, mental health experts, and more!

Individualized Relapse Prevention:

In our dual diagnosis program, we provide relapse prevention strategies to help you stay in recovery in the long term. By undergoing this rigorous treatment modality, you will be better prepared to stay drug-and-alcohol-free after treatment.

Nutrition Education:

At The Blackberry Center, we provide world-class meals that are as healthy as they are delicious. With oversight from our resident nutritionist, we are happy to accommodate a variety of diets while still providing food that is restorative and enjoyable.

Fun, Educational Recreational Therapy:

Our recreational therapy treatment options are evidence-based ways to develop crucial life skills. Whether these are team-based activities to improve communication skills or outdoor games to improve physical wellness, we seamlessly blend entertainment and self-improvement into one treatment method.
